Ordered 3 11/2 lb lobsters. 2 were feast as expected. One lobster was poor. The meat was mushy and inedible.
For Christmas, my sister gave us a gift card for Maine Lobster Now, and we finally redeemed it, ordering two 3 lb. lobsters. My wife and I both grew up in Bar Harbor, so we can’t go too long without lobster. The box arrived at our doorstep in Connecticut the next day, as scheduled. Inside were two male lobsters - alive and tails kicking! With shells a solid dark blue/green, they were among the healthiest lobsters I have ever seen. My only regret was that they did not come packed in seaweed as promised; I love to steam lobsters on a bed of seaweed. Finding MLN is a treasure - we will definitely do more business with them in the future.

Perfect for lobster rolls and very fresh
I was really skeptical about purchasing something as ultra perishable as live lobster and having it shipped from New England to North Florida. Ever since the other folks with lobster in their name closed the three locations that were within driving distance to my house, there have been no lobster for me. The other seafood restaurants close by either do not have it or they are poorly run and give terrible service. I tried 'Main Lobster Now' and am very satisfied with the result. Seemed a bit pricy at first ... but the service, quality of the lobster and overall convenience more than offset that concern. I'll do this again in a month or two. Very Happy Customer! Thank You.
Our 1st time ordering. Invited friends over for a special dinner and what a treat! Arrived day of request, and was a hit! The lobsters were packaged fresh and cold.

We were in the mountains of Idaho and 3 ft of snow and the UPS driver still delivered our lobsters before the determined time alive and ready to be cooked for our Valentine's weekend ... We have had lobsters delivered to our home in the valley but to make it up the hill in the snow for Valentine's was an amazing feat and we will definitely be ordering lobster from you again thank you very much for the great experience.
Received 6 small tails and one huge tail that likely weighed nearly 2 pounds. It was a large meal for two. Very tender and great taste. We have purchased from Maine Lobster Now several times and always have been delighted with the product.
Our order of Finnan Haddie showed up right when it was supposed to and it was delicious in our cullen skink.
Big lobster big shell fair amount of meat. Very tasty made for a great 59th anniversary dinner.
Delicious cod loins, fast delivery with great communications. Smaller package portions would be more suitable for me as a single person. Overall 10/10 👍
The Mac and cheese was excellent with lots of lobster too. The best I’ve had from retail, very rich cheese sauce with large lobster claw meat. I cooked it in my air fryer it came out perfectly.
Great 54th Anniversary dinner! They arrived on time and in great shape. They boiled up perfectly and were delicious! Plenty left over for lobster rolls! We’re definitely regular customers!

Maine Lobster Now provided a quality product but I was most impressed by all the great communication and definitely getting the smoked haddock so quickly.
It made for an amazing cullen skink that I will make again.
The lobsters were excellent. The two lobsters arrived alive packed in seaweed and ice packs in a styrofoam cooler. They arrived on the day I requested. I only wish shipping could have been smoother in that the delivery was after 7pm. However, I don’t think that was a Maine lobster problem but a UPS issue.
The stone crab claws were everything I had hoped for, thank you.
Unfortunately the lobster tails were not
One bag opened to the point that pieces of the frozen tails were inside of the shipping container itself and the other bag was ruptured but not spewing
Both bags contents were freezer burned
The tails were a freebie so it’s hard to complain too much

I purchased 2x 3-lb. whole lobsters to use in a birthday meal I prepared for my daughter’s 26th birthday. They arrived alive and fresh! All 3 courses I made were absolutely delicious! I will purchase again.

My husband and I placed an order for Giant King Crab to be delivered on New Year Eve. Unfortunately it was not delivered as scheduled for whatever reason. When we contacted Maine Lobster on the day delivery was scheduled, we were told if the order eventually arrive, we were not to refuse the delivery and a “new” delivery would be sent out, overnight. Fortunately, the duplicate order did arrive as Customer Service promised, and we were thrilled Maine Lobster followed through as promised.
We have done business with Maine Lobster for the last four years, and since this recent experience, we will continue to be loyal customers of Maine Lobster!
