We responsibly source our lobsters directly from independently owned wharfs, some just a few miles from our headquarters here in Maine and others all along the North Atlantic coast. Each day the docks trace their landings to every lobsterman and woman who catches them, and we trace our lobsters to every dock where they landed.

Are Lobsters the Next Superfood?
Lobsters offer a host of beneficial health qualities similar to other “superfoods.” Lobster (along with other seafood we sell) is an excellent source of protein, offering 19 grams of protein per 3.5 oz. serving.
Lobster also contains a healthy dose of vitamins B3, B6, and B12 to support metabolism and cognitive function. It’s an excellent source of the antioxidant selenium which prevents cellular damage, and is high in zinc to boost immunity. And like salmon, lobster also contains omega-3 fatty acids that help lower inflammation and can reduce the risk of heart disease.

Maine Lobster Now offers next-day delivery for orders placed Monday through Friday by 8AM ET, with delivery available Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday deliveries may require an additional fee and are subject to availability. Orders are shipped with dry ice or gel packs to ensure freshness. Shipping may be affected by holidays or weather conditions. Customers are encouraged to inspect their package upon arrival and report any issues immediately with photos. Simple Instructions for Storing and Thawing Lobster
We’ll help you keep your lobster tails at the highest quality possible.

Frozen lobsters should be left to thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours to prevent lobster meat from sticking to the shell.
Cook tails within 2 days of thawing.
Never thaw a lobster tail in warm water or at room temperature.
If not properly thawed before cooking, lobster meat can become tough and may stick to the shell.
